Admissions
If you are choosing a primary school we are always happy to meet possible new parents and children, but to make sure there is someone free to see you it is best to telephone first.
Admissions for the nursery aged children are dealt with by the Local Authority after registering your interest at our school office. Names for entry into the Nursery class are accepted from a child's second birthday. Please register with at our school office and bring your child's birth certificate and proof of address. Our Nursery serves the ‘catchment area’ of Blackfell, Holley Park, Ayton, Oxclose and Lambton, children normally attend a half day sessions (15 hours weekly) until the academic year when they will be 5 then they attend full time. We have 30 hour provision available for families eligible. Please contact the school office.
Once a child has a place in our school their phased induction in September will be over two weeks in accordance with the procedures recommended by the Local Authority. Full details about school admissions policies are contained in the booklet "Information for Parents", available free from Children’s Services in the Civic Centre (Telephone 520 5555).
