Welcome to Blackfell Primary School
Welcome to our school website. I am very proud to be able to share with you the wonderful opportunities and curriculum we provide at Blackfell Primary School.
As Headteacher, I am extremely proud of our school and our many achievements. Our school is a vibrant place where children are extremely enthusiastic and motivated to learn. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and have the opportunities that are relevant to their needs now and in the future. We encourage our children to take on our values and 5Rs of relationships, resilience, resourcefulness, risk taking and reflection throughout their time in school. I am supported by an enthusiastic and dedicated staff and governor team. Together we work in partnership with parent/carers, the local community and other local schools for the benefit of all children.
We care for every child in our school and aim to give them the very best possible experiences to prepare them for adulthood.
We are very proud to have achieved the Platinum Anti bullying Charter Mark, Mental Health Bronze Charter Mark, Gold Active Sports Mark and Silver Arts Mark Award.
Through our engaging curriculum. we ensure that children can foster a thirst and passion for learning that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe that the children receive a well-rounded curriculum, where individual talents are nurtured. We offer children a vast range of opportunities to develop new skills and interests to flourish and succeed.
The enthusiastic and committed team here at Blackfell, have high expectations of all
children and we believe that everyone can experience success. We are continuously
developing the school environment and curriculum to provide the best possible
experiences for all of our children and to ensure that their time with us is both

In our most recent OFSTED inspection, (November 2021),
Blackfell continues to be a good school.
I am committed to making sure our school strives for excellence and look to
building on our strengths to date.
