Derwent Hill Experience
Year 6 had a great afternoon working with staff from Derwent Hill. They took part in a range of activities where they were able to work on Team work skills such as communication and problem solving! They were fantastic and took part in all of the activities supporting one another! Well done Year 6!

In Art, we have been studying Monet. In this session we had a goy of recreating his famous hay stack pictures discussing the colours and the effect of dabbing shades of colour.

Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in another Outdoor Learning Experience this term. We had great fun trying new activities and we worked on our relationship skills.

In the Classroom:
PSHE: Transition to Secondary School.
As part of our PSHE work, we have been preparing ourselves for our next step to Secondary School. Many of us are attending Oxclose, we all planned our different routes and discussed how long it will take to get to school. We talked about bus routes, walking routes and where it would be safe to get dropped off by car. On our walk over to Oxclose, we revisited road safety and remaining aware of our surroundings.
