Keep Washington Tidy1 July 2025 (by jdodds) |
Today we were joined by Keep Washington Tidy where Liz and Becky introduced their work in a whole school assembly. We found out lots of facts, like how long it takes for rubbish to decompose and the harm it can cause to wildlife. Each class in Key Stage 2 along with Key Stage 1 school council members then took part in litter picking this morning where they tidied around Blackfell area and our school. Tomorrow, Becky will return to work with Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils to create posters for the local area. Well done to our school council members who met Liz and Becky and thanked them for their work around the community.
