Well done to Year 5 and 6 for their incredible work with MOBIE, George Clarke and his team of designers and architects on designing a housing estate to celebrate Washington's 60th anniversary. At an awards ceremony today at Washington Arts Centre, some of the children from the class showcased their work to judges alongside George Clarke and Kim McGuinness, the Mayor of the Northeast. The children were thrilled to win a class trip to Beamish. They had a fantastic morning!
