In science this half term we are learning about materials and their properties. This week, we have been observing what happens when materials are dissolved in water. Sugar, salt, flour, soil and coffee were all mixed with water to see if they dissolved. We learned that soluble materials dissolve in water and insoluble materials don't. We are now evaporating the water to see if we can get the dissolved materials back.
